An ECC Rating is a requirement for meeting the many green building and energy-efficient building standards prescribed by the CA Building Code, Title 24.
Ecc Rater Field Verifications and Certifications are mandated by the 2025 Building Energy Efficiency Standards – Title 24 of the California CALGREEN CODE. Each T-24 or Energy Compliance Report (CBECC-Res/CFM/NR-01-E) is completed by an ECC Rater who performs critical analysis and certifications to ensure your project complies with state regulations.
ECC Raters are defined as: “Construction Workers who support the construction, operation, inspection, and maintenance of construction sites and construction projects (including housing construction).”
Home Energy Rating System (HERS) is a process for administering diagnostic analysis to determine and produce data that evaluates the overall energy efficiency of your home or building. This includes assessing your HVAC system, insulation, windows, and other energy-consuming systems to identify areas for improvement.
